Red Tourism-Manshan Red Martyrs Cemetery in Hefeng County

Manshan red martyrs cemetery is a national key martyrs cemetery building protection unit. It is a historical and cultural humanities scenic spot. The cemetery has been established as one of the main scenic spots of 30 red tourism boutique routes in China, and it is also one of the seven national patriotic education bases in Hubei Province.

The 22-meter-high "Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs in the Hunan-Hubei Soviet Area" stands in the cemetery to commemorate the heroic sons and daughters of the Hefeng Soviet Area who sacrificed their lives during the Second Civil Revolutionary War. There is a bronze statue of He Long in the Martyrs Cemetery. Liao Hansheng personally inscribed ten powerful characters "Inheriting the Martyrs and Revitalizing the Hunan-Hubei Edge". From both sides by the arch along the stone level, the 18.4-meter-high "Hunan-Hubei Soviet Revolutionary Martyrs Monument" looks majestic and tall. The 200-square-meter monument base and the relief relief of the base show a living picture of the revolutionary struggle in western Hunan and Hubei.
